Invertis University has become India’s fifth Google Agentic AI University, launching a new Centre of Excellence to provide students with hands-on experience in enterprise Artificial Intelligence technologies.
Invertis University has become India’s fifth Google Agentic AI University and the first institution in its region to receive the designation, marking a significant expansion of its Artificial Intelligence education programme.
The recognition coincides with the launch of a Google Agentic AI Centre of Excellence, developed using Gemini Enterprise for Education and Google Cloud Digital Campus 4.0.
According to the University, the new facility is designed to bridge the gap between classroom teaching and practical AI application by providing students with access to enterprise-grade AI technologies and structured learning pathways.
The Centre will focus on Agentic AI, enabling students to design, build and deploy AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, retrieving real-time information and completing complex multi-step tasks autonomously.
The initiative aims to equip students with practical skills applicable across sectors including finance, healthcare, logistics, software development and enterprise technology. In addition to supporting academic programmes, the Centre will promote applied research and collaboration between students, faculty and industry partners on real-world AI projects.
The programme has been launched under the guidance of Chancellor Dr Umesh Gautam and Pro-Chancellor Parth Gautam as part of the University’s wider strategy to align teaching with emerging technologies and evolving industry requirements.
University officials said the recognition provides students with access to Google Cloud certification pathways and hands-on experience with enterprise AI tools, helping prepare graduates for careers in an increasingly AI-driven economy.
The initiative forms part of Invertis University’s broader investment in advanced technology infrastructure, industry partnerships and experiential learning designed to improve graduate employability and future workforce readiness.
