Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University has signed an MoU with the Bavarian University of Business and Technology to expand collaboration in research, smart learning and Artificial Intelligence.
A delegation from Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) has visited Munich to strengthen academic and research partnerships with universities, industry and business organisations in Germany.
Led by H.E. Dr Mansoor Al Awar, Chancellor of HBMSU, the delegation held discussions with the Bavarian University of Business and Technology and representatives of the Bavarian Industry Association on collaboration in smart learning, Artificial Intelligence, innovation, business incubation and scientific research.
During the visit, HBMSU presented its academic strategy and smart learning programmes, while discussions focused on curriculum development, research collaboration, university-industry partnerships and opportunities to launch joint research projects.
The visit concluded with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between HBMSU and the Bavarian University of Business and Technology, establishing a framework for future collaboration.

Dr Mansoor Al Awar said: “International collaborations are now a strategic imperative for building an educational ecosystem capable of keeping pace with the accelerating economic and technological transformations. Our visit embodies HBMSU’s dedication to reinforcing partnerships with leading academic and industrial institutions, supporting the development of educational models that address the evolving needs of the economy and job market and prepare individuals capable of leading the future.
